我一直以为元宵和汤圆是一种东西
但亲爱的加皮姐姐告诉我：不一样
制作方式和馅料味道都不一样！！
它俩的英文也不一样！！！
元宵=Yuanxiao
汤圆=Tangyuan
是不是想打我？但确实是这样的
元宵节的英文是 Lantern Festival
和元宵&汤圆一点关系都没有！
大家今天要记得吃汤圆哦~
怎么向外国人解释什么是汤圆呢？
你可以这样解释：

Tangyuan is a Chinese dessert made from glutinous rice flour mixed with a small amount of water to form balls，which is filled with fillings. And then cooked and served in boiling water or sweet syrup.
fillings ['fɪlɪŋz] 馅儿
syrup [ˈsɪrəp] 糖浆，糖汁
glutinous [ˈglu:tənəs] 黏的
汤圆是一种中国甜点，将糯米粉与少量水搓成球，放上馅儿然后在沸水或甜糖浆中煮食。
我最喜欢吃甜馅儿的汤圆：
Sesame paste 芝麻馅儿
Red bean paste 红豆馅儿
Chopped peanuts 花生馅儿
汤圆代表着reunion 团团圆圆
老家每年元宵节夫子庙都有庙会
temple fair，点亮各种灯笼~
我一次都没去过，人真的太多了

Happy Lantern Festival! 元宵节快乐！
Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month, which marks the end of New Year festivities.
元宵节是农历的元月十五，标志着新年庆祝的结束。
The first month of the lunar calendar is known as the 元月(yuan yue). And in ancient China, the night was referred to as 宵 (xiao). So when the first full moon rolls around, this night is accordingly known as 元宵。
农历的一个月被称作“元月”。然后在古代中国，夜晚被称作“宵”。所以当第一个月圆之夜到来的时候，这个晚上就被称作了“元宵”。
It dates back to the Han Dynasty.
(元宵节)起源于汉朝。
The holiday evolved from an ancient Chinese belief that celestial spirits could be seen flying about in the light of the first full moon of the lunar calendar. And to aid them in their search for the spirits they used torches. These torches gave way to lanterns of every shape, size and color.
在农历的第一个月圆之夜，也就是元宵节这天的晚上，可以看到天上飞动的神灵。为了更容易找到这些神灵，人们会点一些火把照明，后来慢慢，火把就被各种各样的灯笼取代了。
元宵节习俗：
hanging lanterns挂灯笼，solving lantern riddles猜灯谜，eating tangyuan吃汤圆，lighting firecrackers放鞭炮, do stilt-walking踩高跷，dragon and lion dancing舞龙舞狮。
Black sesame paste filling is my favorite.
黑芝麻馅儿(汤圆)是我的最爱。
It's said to symbolize both the first full moon and family unity and completeness. 汤圆象征月圆象征团圆。
我觉得元宵节是比中秋节
更能象征团圆的节日

关于元宵节我有两件印象很深的事：
小学校门口有一个老奶奶摆摊卖红豆元宵，放学我会在摆摊的老奶奶那里买一份。老奶奶每次都会多给我一些，初中的时候写了一篇关于她的文章，还登了金陵晚报呢哈哈~稿费20元哈哈哈！
初一那会儿闹了一整年要转学，因为我们学校真不是人待的地方。初二那年元宵节在食堂吃了小汤圆，人也变得矫情。我就去打电话给我妈让她来看看我，我妈说不行，让我专心学习……我就开始哇哇大哭，我妈直接把电话挂了…
