padding-bottom: 10px; color: rgb(126, 126, 126);">亚凯迪亚华人区发生一起持枪入室抢劫案件。（记者邵敏/摄影）</figcaption></figure>记者走访现场，附近邻居表示没有听闻此案，但指出，盗窃包裹、信件案件频发。住在同一条街的华裔居民Amy指出，家门口的邮箱已多次被盗，监控视频完整记录窃贼作案过程。听说这起案件后，Amy说「持枪入室抢劫就发生在我家旁边，太吓人了。被抢的可能是华人，大家都说只有华人家里才放这么多现金，引来不法分子上门抢劫“。也有邻居表示，从案情来看，劫匪有可能早就盯上这户人家，知道被害人刚从赌场回来，有目的性地尾随到家实施抢劫。目前这起持枪入室抢劫案件仍在调查中，当局表示如有进展，将适时公布更多案情。亚市政府、警局十分重视此案，华裔市议员王艾琳（Eileen Wang）提醒居民注意保护自身安全，白天出门前锁好门窗;
